SUNDAY MORNING SERVICE
And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near. - Hebrew 10:25
Throughout the service, the presence of the Holy Spirit is sought and honored, creating a space for transformation, healing, and renewal. The overall environment is one of openness to God's leading, with the expectation that each person will leave empowered and inspired to live out their faith in meaningful ways.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The service begins with a warm welcome and the atmosphere is full of expectation and excitement to worship God. The welcome note encourages everyone to engage and participate fully.
Worship begins with the sound of the shofar, a strong call to come together in God's presence. It encourages us to set aside distractions and open our hearts to worship. This call invites us to enter a holy space where we can connect with God both alone and together. It's a special time to reflect, surrender, and receive the grace found in His presence.
The worship team participates as instruments of the Holy Spirit, infusing each note and lyric with prayer to help the congregation engage more deeply. The atmosphere is filled with anticipation as everyone joins in worship. The team responds to the Holy Spirit's guidance, creating a spontaneous experience that shifts between quiet reflection and joyful celebration.
After worship there is an opportunity to pray or share a prophetic word at the open mic.
Then we partake in the Lord’s supper. This sacred act invites us into a deeper relationship with Christ, reminding us of His sacrifice and love. Each element represents His body and blood, graciously given for our redemption.
Thereafter, children (up to the age of 9 years) are dismissed for children ministry.
A key part of the service is reading and teaching the Bible. The pastor or speaker shares a message that is thoughtfully prepared and inspired by the Holy Spirit. This message encourages, challenges, and helps the congregation in their faith journey. It includes biblical truths that relate to everyday life, promoting spiritual growth.
As the service draws to a close, there is usually a time for response, where individuals may be invited to come forward for prayer, healing, or to make commitments to Christ. This final segment emphasizes the desire for people to not only hear the word but to engage with it actively in their lives.
